Matron of Honor
Heather's best friend since the summer after 6th grade, Natasha has been a huge help in planning the wedding. (Please note that she did not approve of this website design!) Heather & Natasha have been on many trips together, from skiing in Samara, new year's in Moscow, and beach trips to Port A, Galveston, and Canyon Lake. Through thick and thin, Tasha is there for a laugh, or a cry- a loyal friend to the end!
Maid of Honor
Simone and Heather have been besties since they met just before third grade 1998, about to enter their first year of school in the USA. They learned to navigate American culture together, often escaping into their own play and fun. Despite growing up on opposite sides of the world, they still have many of the same interests and hobbies. Now they both live in Austin and enjoy hiking & cooking together, especially a buttery flaky crust. The bond between them is strong and silly, with many shared childhood memories. Her organizational skills and keen judgement in fashion and life have proved invaluable in making many wedding decisions!
Bridesmaid
Anisa is Heather's favorite female Texas cousin - like the sister she never had! Even though Anisa is younger than Heather, she has taught her many life skills, such as how to wear eye make-up. Always a joy at family get togethers, they have bonded in their adult years over white wine, our first trips to the family cabin without the grown-ups (what happens at the cabin stays at the cabin!) and never-ending KP duty when she comes home to visit (our family likes to cook - and use a lot of pots and pans!). Anisa is a fun-loving and hard working lady who is sure to tear it up on the dance floor.
Bridesmaid
Leslie and Heather met in college at CU Boulder when they were only 18! They enjoyed many fun walks home from Pearl Street as roommates their senior year of college. They bonded through their love of gin and tonics, and Leslie introduced Heather to the "gin bucket" party! They took many trips together, from spring break in Moab, camping in Colorado, and the beaches of Mexico. Their friendship endures past the college years- from new jobs and new family members, they have been there for each other!
Best Man
Derek and Rueben have been friends since 1997, since being friends for so long they have done so much together from dirt bike races, fixing old junk cars, to spontaneous road trips.
Groomsman
Rueben Met Joseph on a CanElson Kelly double oil rig throwing tongs, although they worked cross shift from one another for nearly 4 years, they did not realized they lived down the road from one another until the oil boom fizzled. Since 2015 they have been inviting themselves to each others family functions!!
Groomsman
Colby is Ruebens most mature friend. They met just hanging around while working on cell phone towers across Texas. Colby and Rueben were reminiscing about working across Texas when Heather and Rueben first met! Thanks Colby!
Groomsman
Don't Let the big beard fool ya! Shane is a big ol' teddy bear. When Rueben met Shane, Shane had hair on his head, as did Rueben. They has gone through many phases of life together, most notable are the jeeps, so many jeeps. They have helped each other in life, from getting one another jeeps, to jobs, to beers.
