Romeo & Minx: A Love Story One hot summer night in a dimly lit Irish Pub where the music was blaring from the 80s band that was playing, Romeo spotted a bombshell blonde from across the room dancing on stage with the main act. In between sets while the band was taking a break, Romeo pulled his friend, the lead singer, aside and asked the name of the beautiful stranger that had caught his gaze. The singer introduced him to the woman in the tiny shiny silver shorts who would soon steal his heart, the one-and-only Heather Minx. The relationship started with a bang and the couple became infatuated with one another other quite quickly. Truly a tumultuous and rocky romance that was fueled by passion & partying then grew into a fiercely undeniable soul connection. The couple would break up and get back together like the most bipolar type of weather, sometimes a hurricane or a rainbow and earthquakes to follow - these crazy kids were just as much in love as they were insane! Romeo decided to move back to Austin & Heather soon came after as she could not bear to live in Texas without the love she so deeply felt in her heart. Not surprisingly troubles arose and the couple once again reluctantly went their separate ways after humbly returning to Dallas. After a very short stint back at her Dad’s house in East Texas, Heather decided that she had had just about enough of Texas and her Exes so she packed up and moved to the Mile High City of Denver Colorado. There she continued her pursuit of the Arts & performed on some of the most World-Renowned stages for the industries top Musicians & Artists. Being in a fresh new city truly on her own really allowed Ms. Minx the space to become the Creative Visionary & Performance Artist she was always destined to be. Romeo needed an elaborate distraction from the dreadful possibility of the love-of-his-life getting away for good so he headed to Oklahoma to dive head-first into a Filmmaking Venture. Quite unknown at the time this project would later be one of the Most Popular Netflix Original Docu-Series known as “The Tiger King”. Romeo continued to perfect his craft of the Visual Arts & Media over the following years with many innovative projects & productions. While the 2 eccentric artists were on their own unique journeys they always kept in contact as friends. Then in February of 2020, right before the pandemic, Romeo had a bold notion to come visit his long lost lover, Heather, in Sunny Colorado. Although he was not prepared for the frosty temperatures, Heather was even less prepared for the fire the reignited in her heart. Romeo came to watch and film her performances for a Mardi Gras party where he felt the same feelings come flooding back as when he first laid eyes on the stunning “tiny dancer”. Over the next year the pair chatted via FaceTime, phone calls, texts and Facebook declaring their love to one another and planning a future together. In April of 2021, Romeo came back to Colorado as Heathers buff & brave “Knight in Shining Armor” when he came to rescue her in his chariot aka Ram 1500 PickUp Truck. They loaded that PickUp with as much as they could carry and braved the icy roads on the long stretch from the breathtaking Colorado Mountains back to the Lone Star State. A couple of years and a dozen or more break ups later the couple has stayed together for good and decided to make it official on Valentines Day 2023. Romeo nervously got down on one knee in Heathers favorite restaurant on a romantic dinner date to celebrate the holiday. Without hesitation Heather enthusiastically said “Yes, of COURSE I will marry you!” and the couple has been building a life together as soulmates & professionals with their Multi-Media venture, “Seamless Motion Production” as well as launching their singing telegrams with “Total Theatrix”. The Dynamic Duo continues to be a powerhouse of creativity and manifest their dreams into a reality while raising one grumpy but lovable black kitty in Anna, TX.
