How should I prepare for my trip to Ghana ?

Answer

-Negative COVID test 72 hours before landing in ghana -Valid Passport with greater than 6 months expiration after 12.3.22(~6.3.22 expiration date aT minimum) -COVID-19-Vaccination Card -Yellow fever vaccine (available in Ghana upon arrival) -Other Vaccines ( cholera, Typhoid, Hepatitis A) -Malaria Prophylaxis medications (obtain a month prior to departure, talk to provider about your travel to ghana) -Download WhatsApp if haven’t already -Consider international phone plan before Departure (T-Mobile charges $50 for 30 days, unlimited everything)

Is a PCR and/or antigen test required when I arrive to Ghana? Yes.

Answer

* Upon arrival, each traveler age five and over must undergo a temperature screening and COVID-19 test conducted at the airport. * The test carries a $150 fee per person. Travelers MUST pay the fee online before departure at https://myfrontierhealthcare.com/Home/Ghana and present proof of payment to the airline prior to boarding. * Passengers must also complete a Health Declaration Form on entry ghanahealthservice.org * Test results will usually be available within 30 minutes.
