Our journey started with a swipe and a first move—so technically, you can blame Bumble for this wedding. Heather sent the first message, and Mike has been trying to keep up ever since. She clearly said the right thing, because our first date lasted eight hours. Apparently, we liked the conversation so much we decided to repeat that eight-hour marathon for the next ten dates... all within the first two weeks. We quickly realized we were the perfect travel partners, whether we were sunning in Jamaica, fishing the Outer Banks, or skiing the slopes of Snowshoe. Our relationship was built on a shared love for adventure, fitness, and a good glass of wine/bourbon—not to mention the miracle that Mike, a boy from New York, somehow grew up a die-hard Tar Heels fan! Before long, we decided to really test our compatibility by making our first "big" purchase together: a camper trailer. Swapping city lights for the great outdoors and exploring "off the grid" solidified what we already knew—whether we’re competing in the Friend Olympics, hitting the gym, or sharing a farm-to-table dinner, we are always in sync. Our story has been a whirlwind of simple moments and big milestones, and we can’t wait to start this next chapter. We look forward to sharing a toast (of something good!) with all of our favorite people!
