Laguna Beach
The best beach town with good food and shopping. You can spend an entire day here exploring. Check out the rooftop at The Inn for a cocktail and the views. There is definitely a chance you might spot Lauren Conrad... even more likely that you'll see someone less exciting like, Dieter. Remember him?
San Clemente
San Clemente is Heather's favorite SoCal spot. She and Michael have enjoyed many day trips to the small beach town to stroll along Del Mar for shopping, delicious food, and better cocktails. Recommended stops: Surfin Donuts, South Swell Ice Cream, Melrose in the OC, Nick's San Clemente, HH Cotton's, and the San Clemente Pier and Beach.
Newport Beach
Lots more going on in Newport - rent electric bikes or scooters and cruise around Balboa Pier or maybe get a group together to take a duffy boat on a cruise in the marina. You can also book whale and dolphin watching tours.
Santa Catalina Island
Off the California coast, book a ferry ride to Catalina Island for some of that island life. There are tons of hiking trails, ziplining, restaurants, and a huge marina with boat tours.
Disneyland Park
It is *literally* the happiest place on Earth. Treat yo'selves!
Downtown Disney
Downtown Disney is a great stop while avoiding the high ticket prices that come with visiting Disneyland Park. It is a free district with shops and restaurants that still gives you the Disney experience.
Anaheim Packing District
A super fun food hall with breweries and pop-up shops. This is where Michael and Heather went to celebrate when they decided on a wedding venue.
Farmhouse at Roger's Gardens
Super delicious farm-to-table eatery with locally sourced American fare, cocktails & regional wines.
Honda Center
Oldtimers still call this place The Pond, but go here to catch a Anaheim Ducks game.
