FAQs

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Our wedding is outdoors in the fall, so dress cute, comfy, and weather-aware! Think dressy casual—nice jeans or slacks, dresses with layers, cozy sweaters, and shoes that won’t sink into the grass. No need for anything too formal, unless you really want to. Bonus option: Since it’s right before Halloween, feel free to get festive! Tasteful costumes are totally welcome, just come ready to celebrate!

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

We’re so excited to celebrate with our closest friends and family! Due to space being limited, we’re only able to accommodate guests who are listed by name on the invitation. If your invitation includes a plus one, they’ll be listed—otherwise, we kindly ask that you attend solo. Thank you for understanding!

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Due to limited space, we’re only able to include the children specifically named on your invitation. While we wish we could celebrate with everyone, we hope you understand and can enjoy a night out with us!

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will begin promptly at 4:00 PM, so we kindly ask that you arrive around 3:30 PM to allow time to park, find your seat, and settle in. We'll have a grazing table and refreshments—including wine and beer—available before the ceremony, so come early, mingle, and enjoy!

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes! There will be plenty of parking available at the venue.

Question

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

We’ve reserved a block of rooms at Comfort Suites for your convenience—it’s just 8 minutes from the venue. You can book at our special group rate of $147.90 per night for a 2-night stay by calling 336-449-5161 and mentioning the Frankenfield/Summers Wedding. Please be sure to reserve your room by September 23rd, as rooms are limited and will be released the following day. Important note: Our wedding weekend falls during the local furniture market, which means hotels in the area will fill up fast. We highly recommend booking your accommodations as soon as possible to secure your stay!
