Our story began at Maddie Henning’s baby shower- thank you, Lindsay and Mike! 🤍 The introduction was slightly coordinated, and if we’re being honest, neither of us knew quite what to expect. But we said hello anyway- and that simple hello turned into a first date the very next day. We kept it simple with fruit and cocktails, but what started as a casual date turned into hours of meaningful conversation, natural chemistry, and the quiet understanding that neither of us was ready to say goodnight. There was comfort between us- and something undeniably electric. As time went on, we progressed quickly, but with intention. We discovered we shared the same values- showing up for the people we care about, working hard for what matters, and building a lasting love. Mark brings adventure into Heather’s world, encouraging her to travel, explore, and experience places both new and familiar. Heather brings love, warmth, and a steady presence into Mark’s life- something he has always deserved. Our favorite moments are often the simplest- evenings at home with our labradoodle, Hazel, good food on the table, a trip on the calendar, and memories logged along the way. We love experiencing new places, revisiting favorite ones, and sharing all of it with each other. Heather is in love with Mark’s ability to organize and plan everything to perfection, and his easy-going personality that brings balance to every room he walks into. She admires how well regarded he is, the strong friendships he has built, and the way he naturally connects people- she loves that through him, she is constantly meeting incredible friends who have become part of their shared life. Mark is in love with Heather’s ambition and her natural way with people. He deeply admires her compassion, how genuinely she cares for others, something reflected so clearly in her career- and the way she treats every person she meets with kindness and warmth. He also cherishes the thoughtfulness she pours into every detail of her life. What started as a slightly uncertain introduction became something clear and steadfast- a partnership built on intention, consistency, and a life we’re building side by side. We are so incredibly happy to be getting married and even more excited for what’s ahead- growing our home, continuing to build on what we’ve created, and hopefully soon starting a family of our own.
