We’re getting married!

Logan and I met in 8th grade, we had the same science class together and from the moment I saw him, I knew he was the person I wanted to be with for the rest of my life. I dont know if he ever realized at that point of just meeting that I had a crush on him. But I would catch myself staring at him all the time. I think half way through the year he caught on because he started flirting with me. Although his way of doing that was shooting staples at me with a tiny stapler... they missed almost 90% of the time. Flash forward to highschool where we decided to try dating (I dont know if youd really would call it that cause it was more just us meeting up in between classes and walking to class together) we became really close with eachother but he couldnt really keep up with outgoing and rambunctious I was so we finally called it quits. This brings us to a couple years ago when i was about to finish up my associates degree and I happened to wander into Publix with my parents and we saw eachother, exchanged glances, kinda awkwardly waved and went about our days, I so badly wanted to message him but he had a girlfriend and I didnt want to get involved. After that we kept running into eachother at publix (he worked there) and what started as a few glances and waves became conversation. An entire month after that I realized he was now single but left it at the occasional “hey, how’s it going?” When we would run into eachother. Then it happened!! He messaged me on instagram and wanted my number again so that we could talk more. We talked for about a week and then decided to go on our first ever date!! I was so beyond excited, and after the first date we became an official couple and could not stay away from eachother! I got the same feeling as the day we first met in 8th grade, but this time I knew I was going to marry him one day.

We arranged for our first date to be in St. Augustine, we ate at pizza alley, we walked around down town and just really caught up on everything happening in our lives at this point in time. I think the exact moment we fell in love with eachother was when I grabbed his hand and we sat down infront of a fountain and just stared at eachother. It was getting late so we decided to head back to the car and once we got back in the car, we moved in for the kiss and made our relationship official. Oh how that date made my night. I was head over heels for Logan and couldnt wait to be with again.

We decided to last minute go have dinner in St. Augustine. Apparently Logan had already known he was going to propose here but I had no idea. He’d been planning for a month on how he could convince me to go to st augustine and walk around the fort (you will see why this detail is important). I normally decline walking around the fort because I usually want to stick close to the main street area and play pokemon. But I knew the last time we had come he asked to go and I said next time because I was too full from dinner. I couldn’t say no this time around because I had promised! He got super excited and we at dinner at Casa Maya, got a couple of drinks and had a really nice dinner. He then excitedly dragged me to the fort and we were walking around it (it was night time, I had no idea why he wanted to walk around the fort and I was joking around. We came around to a pretty dark portion of the fort and decided that I should take some pictures to see if any ghost orbs pop up on the photos. To no avail nothing showed up but as i turned around to show Logan the pictures I saw he was on one knee and holding a box with a ring in it, he asked me to marry him!!! I really honestly thought he was joking at first and was super surprised! I eventually said yes but not before complaing that I didnt have my nails done and why he did it with no one around lol. I also can’t believe I didnt cry, I was so happy I was holding back lol.
