Miss Lucy Boat Cruise

(THIS ACTIVITY WAS LIMITED SEATING AND IS FULL) Join us for a cruise on the Miss Lucy. Must arrive 10 minutes prior to departure. You are welcome to bring beverages of your choice on this 1 hour boat cruise. Limited seating. If you are unable to join us on Thursday, call the Inn and reserve a spot for you and your party on Friday night at 5pm. (If you don't have other plans.) Early Arrivals Welcome Reception

This will take place at our rental house. It is located a mile from the Greystone Inn. For those guests who are arriving to Lake Toxaway early, you are welcome to stop by at any time after 7p on Thursday night. This is VERY CASUAL. We will have some appetizers and crockpots going, fire-pit a blaze... if you have a favorite alcoholic beverage, please bring it with you. After traveling all day, you may not want to worry about finding a spot to eat, this is ideal for you :)

Day By The River

In lieu of a rehearsal dinner, we have reserved a private, beautiful, riverside pavilion for all of us. McNeely's Pavilion is about 15 minutes from the Inn. Come out at any point of the day to visit. We are personally making a day of it. We will be out there from 8:30a - 4p. We are going to have a BBQ lunch catered too. While there, you can hike, relax by the large fireplace, enjoy the river & have an option to fly fish. Fly fishing info: The cost is $80 per person & we need to secure in advance. Cost includes 2 hours of fly fishing, gear, guide, tax & gratuities. It is a private, stocked trout river. You will also need to go on-line & purchase a $20 NC fishing license. It is good for 10 days after purchase. We have 24 fly fishing spots on hold. Fishing times are: 8:30a- 10:30a or 10:30a-12:30p or 12:30p-2:30p We are having lunch catered from 11:30a - 1:30p. Please RSVP and/or reach out to Heather at 352.263.5776. We need a headcount for both fly fishing and the lunch.

After an exciting day at the river, Friday night will be on your own to unwind and relax. Perhaps take the opportunity to dine in Brevard, Cashiers or Highlands. (No scheduled dinner planned for this night) We will see you after dinner, when you stop by the hospitality suite - at the Greystone Inn.

After dinner at your leisure, please unwind with us, at the Rockefeller Suite. The Rockefeller suite is located behind the Inn, down by the lake and boathouse. It is an outside entrance on the 2nd floor. We look forward to catching up with all of you. (Please note, the Greystone Inn has a strict alcohol policy. All beverages must be in glassware or a clear plastic cup. We can not walk the grounds, with "cans of beer".

For those that love to golf, the Greystone Inn has a course at the Lake Toxaway Country Club. We have members of the wedding party that are individually planning to golf on Saturday morning, October 19th. T-times start at 9am. $125 per player $26 per golf cart Please text Heather at 352.263.5776 if you plan to golf. She will pair you with the rest of our guests. Let us know if you will need club rentals as well.
Cooke / Barnett Wedding

Semi-Formal: Tuxes and gowns are welcome, and so are suits and cocktail dresses.
Theme of the wedding is 1920's glam. Ceremony and reception are planned to be outside. (LADIES, highly discourage spiked or high heels. The grounds are very hilly and not level. Great time to show off classy flats or a small wedge)
