We met in high school where we were acquaintances, but not very good friends. Kardell tried to convince me to go on a date with him, but it was not happening. We lost contact until the end of college when we reconnected. We had both grown up, one of us more than the other, although we won't name names. We quickly became best friends. We just started talking one day and haven't stopped since!

In January, we had the opportunity to go on a beautiful cruise to Mexico with our friends. We explored Aztec ruins and relaxed on gorgeous beaches, but the best part by far was when we went to the front deck of the ship to take pictures of the sunset. Well, the sun had already gone down because I took too long to get ready. However, Kardell insisted on taking a picture anyway and while I was busy posing, he got down on one knee and took me by surprise by asking me to marry him. That was definitely the MOST memorable part of our vacation! Thank you so much for celebrating this next chapter with us!
