In 2004 Heather moved to Joshua's home town Portland Oregon from Albuquerque New Mexico. Around 2007 she started exploring cooking in a deeper way. She just so happened to live right across the street from a New Seasons grocery store where Joshua was a butcher. Josh and Heather spent a year interacting over the meat counter. Josh was always so helpful and excited to give Heather instructions on how to make delicious recipes with the meat and fish he expertly prepared. One day Heather decided to make home-made crab raviolis and Josh couldn't be more thrilled to give her a recipe and instructions on how to prepare the pasta dough. After searching the bulk isle for semolina flour with not success she saw Joshua come around the corner to help. Josh was adorable in his meat apron and huge sweet smile. He helped her find the flour, took her basked and proceeded to walk her through the produce department and pick out yummy ingredients he thought would make her raviloies pop,like dandelion greens, which Heather had only ever know to be a weed🤷‍♀️. After helping her shop Joshua gave Heather his phone number on some butcher paper and told her to call him if she had any trouble. Heather was taken back by Joshua's smooth operator game! She proceeded to completely destroy her ravioli, who knew wine bottles weren't great pasta rollers?! After failing miserably she reached out to Joshua for help. He offered to come and make her ravioli in the next few days. Heather was so excited about getting to know him that she went back to the store the next day and asked him to watch Return to OZ with her that night. Joshua came over after he got off and that's all she wrote! Neither one of them could believe how connected they were from the first night they hung out. Over a decade later through ups and downs and all arounds they bought a home in Albuquerque and are finally having the ceremony of their dreams to celebrate their life long love and commitment. They are overjoyed to share this magical experience with all of their loved ones in the land of enchantment where they plan to spend the rest of their lives together living, loving, traveling and snuggling with eachother and their two kitty cats Daniel Tiger and Circe❤️
