We met on Bumble the dating app and spent a few weeks chatting through the app before meeting face to face. On August 16, 2016, we had our first date at Denver Beer Company. We didn’t realize it was Geeks Who Drink trivia night. We attempted to play trivia but came in last because we were too busy chatting. We continued dating and spending our time biking around town, walking Ginger, attending festivals, traveling to the mountains, hiking and even being couch potatoes. In May 2017 we bought a house and moved in together. Since then, we have taken on several home renovation projects and survived them. We continue to work on our house and hope our family will grow in the house. We enjoy having people over and holding an annual crawfish boil in our big backyard. Also, our best times are spent hosting game nights with our closest friends! We dated over three years before Jose decided to propose on November 29, 2019 at the place we purchased our Christmas tree for the past three years. Thankfully, Heather’s family was in town to celebrate the proposal. Heather had no clue and was completely surprised! If you haven’t seen the video, please ask.
