Jonathan was a single father living in the suburbs while Heather was a single girl living it up in the city. How did this come to be? While Heather was waiting to start her role as the Event Sales Manager for the Esquire by Cooper's Hawk, she was required to attend training for a few weeks at the Arlington Heights Cooper's Hawk location where Jonathan was working as the Assistant General Manager. One day during a meeting, Jon apologized for bumping Heather with his elbow- noting that he was left handed. What a coincidence to find out that she was left handed too! Who could have known that this brief exchange would eventually lead to a match made in heaven. A few months later, while Jon was helping with the organization of the wine tower at Esquire, he ran into Heather again. The two started talking and decided to go grab a few drinks. Not impressed with the traffic and overpriced beverages, Jon asked Heather to show him something amazing that the city had to offer. She brought him to one of her favorite places to go, the river walk. It was then that they took their first of many walks down the Chicago River. This would be the place they shared their first kiss and eventually where Jon would ask Heather to marry him. A few years, a pandemic, a condo purchase, vacations, job changes, and many bottles of wine later, the couple is excited to start the next chapter of their lives with family and friends by their side.
