Casual/beach casual with flat shoes or wedges. Shorts and flip flops are definitely okay! Bring sunglasses and a light jacket or wrap in case it's windy. We will have bug spray!

For anyone choosing to arrive by Thursday, we would love for you to come over Thursday evening and join us at the property for a relaxed, laid back gathering along the banks of the Frederica River. We will have a limited open bar and non alcoholic beverages available, however no food will be served. Live music will be provided by The Dustin McCook Trio. The set list will include all of our favorite southern rock/rock/jam band favorites including The Allman Brothers Band, Widespread Panic, The Grateful Dead and more! Parking is very limited at Captain’s Bluff. We have been given the okay for guests to park on the property Thursday night, but everyone must carpool or use a rideshare due to space.

Deep in the Heart of Texas Fiesta: The Barn at Captain's Bluff

Attire: Rodeo Chic (boots/dresses/bling/turquiose/hats) to Island Casual (shorts/tees/flip flops)

Join us for a drop in happy hour celebrating the state Heather and Jeff both now call home! Light fiesta bites and cocktails will be served (margs + ranch water!) along with non alcoholic beverages. Please carpool! We encourage everyone to do dinner on your own - make reservations as early as you can as June is peak summer season on the island. A few of our favorites are below! Closer to the venue: Benny’s Red Barn, La Plancha, Sal’s Neighborhood Pizzeria, Certified Burgers & Beverage, Frederica House Mid island: Southern Soul BBQ, Catch 228 South end of the island: Fiddler’s, Crabdaddy's, Barbara Jean’s (crab cakes!)

Ceremony: The Lawn at Captain's Bluff

5:00 pm - 5:30 pm

Coastal Chic: For women, think flowy maxi and midi dresses or jumpsuits with wedges or flat sandals. For men, think button downs (jacket optional, no ties unless you get a wild hair!), polos, slacks or chinos or linen with loafers, boat shoes, dressy kicks or flip flops. Don't forget your sunglasses!

There will be no guest parking on the property for any events on Saturday; we have reserved the St. Simons Trolley to bring guests to and from the property. Confirmed Shuttle Information: Pick up locations will include Sea Palms Resort (4:15p and 4:30p) and Oglethorpe Elementary School (4:15p, 4:30p and 4:45). OES address: 6200 Frederica Road, SSI. Each trolley holds 32 guests. Ceremony begins at 5p sharp! If you are staying south of Sea Island Road or off island, please allow extra travel time for summer traffic! Trolley pick up after the reception is tentatively scheduled for 9:30p and then again around 10:30p after Jeff and Heather depart the property. Light snacks and non alcoholic beverages will be served between 10p and 10:30p!
