Welcome to the wedding of Jason Bell and Heather Cohen

It was the night before Thanksgiving and Heather was out with her friends enjoying the beginning of the holiday. Jason was also out with a friend (who knew one of Heather's friends), and while waiting the standard 2 hours for their table at Au Cheval, they decided to meet up with Heather's group. After Heather's friend realized Jason was single, she "nudged" him to say hi to Heather. After what was probably an incredibly charming opening line, they ended up chatting until Jason's table was ready down the street. Realizing that they had a lot in common and several mutual connections, Jason asked for Heather's number and they went on their first date a week later. Jason took Heather to Sparrow for Drinks (a great choice), and had a great time. That first date led to another, and another, and they have been together ever since. A year later they decided to move in together and bought a condo in the West Town neighborhood of Chicago. When Heather and Jason were planning a trip with some of her family to visit her brother in her "Happy Place", Charleston, SC, Jason knew it would be the perfect opportunity to pop the question! Jason also invited a number of his good friends, and on January 27th (Heather's parents' birthday - yes both of their birthdays), in front of family and friends, he proposed on the Charleston waterfront. To cap things off, a dolphin swam by at the exact moment he proposed, and she said YES!
