She’s passionate about uplifting Latina-owned businesses and intentionally supporting brands founded by people of color. Through her platform, she advocates for representation and uses her voice to shine a light on those often overlooked. After walking through the journey of divorce, she found the kind of love she always dreamed of James aka Sugar Bear. He’s her biggest supporter, the best dog dad to their pup Colton, and always armed with the funniest (and corniest) jokes. He wears her on a shirt, lifts her up, and never dims her shine. Heather’s always been a star in her own right now she has someone who makes that light feel even more powerful.

Heather met Jimmy on Facebook Dating yes. But instead of a red flag, she found the calmest, kindest, most unexpectedly perfect man. Jimmy is all about the simple joys: a medium-rare steak, a cold root beer, and porch hangouts with his dog-son Colton. He’s already the ultimate fun dad full of dad jokes, stroller-ready, and so excited for the next chapter. These days, he’s embracing South Philly life like he’s been here forever from decorating the porch to walking Colton all around Girard Park. Loyal, lowkey hilarious, and proudly rocking shirts with Heather’s face on them, Jimmy proves that real love isn’t about being loud it’s about showing up, cheering you on, and making life a whole lot sweeter.

Jason and Jimmy go way back — 17 years, to be exact, when they started working together at Pepsi in 2008. From day one, Jason’s been the kind of friend who shows up and stays — consistent, dependable, and always down for a cold beer and a good game. Jimmy has always admired Jason not just for his loyalty, but for the way he balances being a hard-working husband and father while still making time to be a great friend. The jokes haven’t changed, the friendship’s only gotten stronger — and there was never a doubt who’d be standing beside Jimmy on this day.

Heather and Jessica are sisters, but like many siblings, their paths didn’t always run side by side. Jessica moved away when they were younger, so they missed out on some of those classic adolescent memories but life brought them back together when it mattered most. After Heather’s divorce and the end of Jessica’s long-term relationship, they found themselves under the same roof, navigating life’s twists with takeout, sarcasm, and the occasional deep talk. Their bond grew in the quiet moments not always perfect, but always real. Jessica is steady, honest, and the kind of sister who shows up, keeps it grounded, and never lets things get too sappy.

Ariana is Heather’s niece, but during a chapter of life in 2022 when Heather moved in after her divorce they quickly became more like sisters. Navigating life under one roof, they laughed, cried, argued, and tag-teamed through just about everything (and everyone). Ariana is one of the funniest people you’ll ever meet, with the soul of an old lady and the wit of someone who’s been through five lives already. She never really got to just be a kid, but somehow she’s turned into the kind of person who can make you laugh until you cry and then hit you with a life lesson. Watching her grow into someone who cares deeply, loves boldly, and shows up fully has been one of Heather’s greatest joys and having her by her side on this day means the world.

Alexa is Jimmy’s sister and basically the girl version of him laid-back, funny, and always along for the ride. She might not be the one making the plans, but she’s always down to show up (even if she needs a few reminders). Alexa is incredibly kind, loyal to the core, and someone who genuinely tries her best to be there for the people she loves. You can see how much heart she puts into being a great mom, daughter, and sister often putting others before herself. She’ll make you laugh, bring the good vibes, and roll with just about anything (as long as you text her twice to remind her).
Gabby Velasquez

Gabby and Heather met in 2022 at work, and what started as co-workers turned into instant best friendship. In just a short time, Gabby has become one of the most grounding, loving, and loyal people in Heather’s life — part best friend, part second mom, and part voice of reason. She keeps Heather on her toes, calls her out (with love), and somehow always knows exactly what to say. She’s an incredible mom, a constant supporter of Heather and Jimmy, and a big part of why this chapter feels so full. Their friendship may be newer, but Heather couldn't imagine marrying Jimmy without Gabby standing right there beside her.

Justin and Jimmy have been friends for four years, keeping their bond strong even with the distance. They connect over chill vibes music, video games, travel, and hanging with their dogs and significant others. Whether they’re in the same city or catching up from afar, the banter is always flowing and the loyalty runs deep. Justin’s the kind of friend who makes things easy, real, and always a good time.

Matt is Alexa’s boyfriend and the father of her child but more importantly, he’s been part of the family ever since. He and Jimmy have lived together, laughed together, and definitely seen it all. Matt is a character in the best way: quick with a joke, always keeping things interesting, and guaranteed to bring the laughs wherever he goes.

Andy’s my older brother. We’ve been through a lot growing up — not always easy, but he's always looked out for me in his own way. Glad to have him as part of the day.

Christina is Heather’s younger stepsister, but in so many ways, she’s always felt more like a parent, guide, and steady force in her life. She’s strong, kind, deeply loyal, and the kind of listener who truly hears you. Through every chapter, Christina has shown up with wisdom, compassion, and quiet strength which is exactly why there’s no one else Heather would trust to officiate her wedding. She’s the one person who truly understands how Heather loves and the only one who could put that kind of love into words.
