Day trip to Capri
You have to do Capri. Take a ferry from Sorrento and explore this stunning island. Walk around Marina Grande, take the chairlift up to Monte Solaro for insane views, and don’t miss the Blue Grotto (get there early or you’ll queue forever). Stop for a drink at Faraglioni Bar to see the iconic rock formations. Totally worth a full day if you can.
Beach Clubs
Need a chill day? Hit up La Marinella or Leonelli’s Beach Club. Sun, sea, cocktails. Perfect to recharge before the wedding weekend madness.
Piazza Tasso
The heartbeat of Sorrento. Grab a coffee at Bar Fauno, soak up the atmosphere, and watch street performers do their thing. Good for wandering, window shopping, or just a pit stop before dinner.
Pompeii
Step back in time at Pompeii — it’s mind-blowing! Walk the streets, see the ruins, and imagine life frozen in time. Top tip: hire a guide or download an app so you actually understand what you’re looking at (otherwise it’s just lots of stones!). If you’re feeling hungry afterwards, stop at Ristorante Caupona near the entrance for a Roman-style lunch.
