Matron of Honor
Candice was always Heather’s protector, her big sister and teacher since the day she was born. Nothing has changed 37 years later. She’s still the rock she was in the beginning.
Best Man
Faiez's little brother. They’ve always had their own language and accents to talk to each other in. At every family wedding, you could find them bringing the heat on the dance floor. He is Faiez's more artistic half, and makes music that blows people's mind. But most importantly, when he smiles you see the goodness in his heart.
Matron of Honor
Heather had to wait 6 years to meet her other half. You probably can’t tell them apart on the phone, and in their college days, they could pass as twins. Even though their hobbies couldn’t differ more, their bond is unbreakable.
Groomsman
Sheroo lived down the street from Faiez's grandma in Houston. In 8th grade, they’d get into trouble during the summer, play basketball, and invite their friends over to play hold em. Aside from his goofball antics, he won Faiez's family over when he would help his grandma around the house when nobody else was around. Now he’s Faiez's bro-in-law and father to his beautiful niece. When he’s not with family, you can catch him flipping deals and making ish happen. He’s a natural entertainer and can make friends with anybody.
Bridesmaid
Brooke and Heather met in 7th grade. Brooke’s dad was the principle, and Heather was always in his office. It was love at first sight. Brooke kept Heather grounded and Heather was just mischievous enough for Brooke to exercise her own rebellion
Groomsman
Mo must have been born in a suit. If he’s not dressed for a GQ shoot, he’s laying it down on a soccer pitch. Faiez's partner in crime in Boulder, they were attached at the hip. He is the embodiment of a great listener. Faiez's favorite moments were always when they’d be in public, and could crack a joke from across the room, without saying a word to each other. Somehow they were always on the same page. That’s how you know they’re best friends.
Bridesman
Adventure buddy in NYC! Heather sat down at a coffee bar one day on her lunch break from her job (that she hated) and Manny served her a single shot of espresso. It was friendship at first sight.
Groomswoman
Exactly two months older than Faiez. She’s his cousin who’s really a sister. Nissa was Faiez first best friend, and kicked his ass until the age of 10. They’d try to stay up as late as possible in the summers, chugging 2L cokes and sneaking cookie dough, inevitably to fall asleep before midnight. She seems quiet and sweet, but wait till you catch her in the gym.
Bridesmaid
Cait and Heather met shortly after Cait moved to Austin from Chicago. Cait, the ultimate networker, called Heather after hearing her speak on a panel. Heather was instantly drawn towards Cait’s positivity and boss-babe mentality. Cait has been instrumental in Heather’s entrepreneurship, being a pillar of support on the journey of learning how to embrace being a leader. Cait is obsessed with healthy food. It’s an easy friendship
Groomsman
Faiez's best buds from 10th grade till now, Akshay was his first “business partner.” They whipped up scheme after scheme, from sports betting in high school to late night “munchy” delivery service in college. They both goofed off more than their parents would have liked, but managed to pull it together in time. Akshay told Faiez to buy Ethereum in 2013, he should have listened.
Bridesmaid
Kim and Heather met at the height of their party days in downtown Austin. 14 years later, they can still carry a conversation like sisters. They both enjoy travel, math and science, and good food.
Groomsman
A bold and courageous leader in the Austin community, Shea and Faiez connected through the health and wellness space. But their friendship really developed through spiritual development. When Faiez decided to get sober, Shea was there to hold a mirror and space whenever he needed him. It takes a special kind of selflessness to show up the way he does for his friends. It doesn’t take long to feel his heart and presence.

After meeting only once, Logan randomly reached out to Faiez to shoot a “day in the life” of an entrepreneur video. From 4am to 6pm, they travelled around Austin for meetings and goings on. By the end of the day, they both realized how easy it was to spend 12+ hours together. This blew Faiez’s mind. Ever since, Logan has been the big brother Faiez never knew he needed. Although the footage from that day was stolen when someone broke into Logan’s car, it marked the beginning of their friendship. Now they’re shooting a documentary, which you all will see in a few years ;)
Bridesmaid
Carysn was the family surprise! She’s the most like Heather out of all of the sisters and watching her grow has been one of the greatest gifts. She's sweet, outspoken, sharp, and loves math and cooking. Heather is so proud and grateful for her mini.
Groomsman
CJ and Faiez met through Instagram. Two entrepreneurs trying to grow their brands. They met for coffee and instantly clicked over what’s wrong with the education system, and the change they want to see in the world. CJ is high energy, social, and always connecting people. He lives to serve his community and help people thrive. From day one, he’s supported PTYD however he could. From photo shoots, to spreading the word, recruiting employees, and much more than can fit here. It would be a true statement to say, “there wouldn’t be a PTYD without CJ Finley.” No matter what, Faiez knows that when he calls CJ, he will come through. That’s a special kind of friendship.
