What does parking look like?

Answer

1940 Air Terminal Museum has about 75 spaces for guests. There is also parking available on Travelair Street in front of the Museum and in a parking lot directly across the street.

May I bring my children or a guest?

Answer

Due to limited numbers, we hope you appreciate that children or guests (plus one) are only invited if named. Your invitation will be made out to “The (Your last name) Family” if your children are invited. “Mr. & Ms.” If only you and your significant other/guest have been invited.

Hotel/ Accomodations

Answer

While we have a block at Holiday Inn Express & Suites Houston Hobby Airport Area and Crowne Plaza - Med Ctr, we can also provide you with areas that are fun to stay in if you’re planning on staying in town a bit longer. We do urge you to book your room as soon as possible.

Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The wedding events will take place indoor. There will be planes on the property that you will be permitted to take photos with outside and with the assistance of Museum Employees.

Will the Museum be open?

Answer

The Exhibits will be available to see during the wedding. We ask that if your child is in attendance, you keep a close eye on them. No food or beverages are permitted in the area. There will be staff and 2 HPD on duty for security.
