We connected on Instagram and spent months of messaging online. We finally meet and had a first dinner date, drinking Moscow mules and talking on a warm October night. Lucky for us, that was our last first date.

With some help from our families and friends, Dawson pulled off a surprise Christmas engagement December 23, 2023. While having holiday photos taken, Dawson popped the question to Heather with a beautiful diamond ring underneath twinkle lights.

We plan to take our honeymoon and return to our home in East Dallas with our mini dachshund, Dolly.
