We recommend exploring the hotels at the World Golf Village. https://www.worldgolfvillage.com/accommodations/
Beaches.....St George Street....Bridge of Lions.....the Distillery....the list goes on and on. Its one of my FAVORITE places and my second home. (If you want some personal recommendation just let me know!) This web site provides a list to do in St. Augustine. Ranges from local museums to free tours of the winery and distillery. https://www.floridashistoriccoast.com/things-to-do/
Here are some of my personal favorites: The Kookaburra --coffee and a handful of breakfast foods Crave ---wraps, salads.....earthy vibe....fresh food. SO GOOD Osprey Tacos & Old Coast Ales--two separate place that pair so well. you can eat a taco and drink a beer, or just eat a taco, or just drink a beer Candlelight South---good wings...a dive but good food O'Steen's---famous for their fried shrimp, expect a wait and make sure your whole party is there (they won't seat you until all arrive) These next few are more fine dining: The Blue Hen Cafe-- breakfast and lunch (only open til 2pm) The Columbia---Cuban food. need to make reservations Ice Plant---restaurant above the distillery (try to make reservations) There are lots of great places to eat. You can find lots of seafood places on the island and can wonder downtown and find a plethora of places. I'm more a taco, wings, and beer girl but hopefully have provided a few good options.
