Heather and Danny met at Shades of Green bar in New York City. It was a true love at first sight experience for the both of them as soon as they locked eyes. A profound feeling that neither of them have ever felt before. Danny remembers Heather's purple colored teeth from the red wine she was drinking, as well as her smile and laugh. Heather remembers Dannys kind blue eyes and way he made her feel during their first conversation. They had much in common, and bonded over their love of seeing live music- specifically jam bands. After this encounter at Shades of Green, they exchanged Instagram handles and kept in friendly contact for several months. They both hoped that they would get to see each other again and build upon the immediate connection they felt. Then, the pandemic hit and they never got to have their first date. Danny went to Florida for several months to spend time with his family who was renting a condo there. During the pandemic they continued to keep in contact and would get excited when they would see a message from the other person. In July of 2020, they finally had their first date and the rest was history.
