Do I need to be vaccinated in order to attend the wedding?

Answer

Yes, in order to ensure the health and safety of all of our loved ones who will be attending, we expect all adult guests to be fully vaccinated before attending the wedding. Please schedule your second dose no later than August 14th to ensure you are fully immune before traveling to Vermont. #publichealth

What are the closest airports?

Answer

Hartford Bradley and Boston Logan International are both about 2.5 hours from Woodstock. Manchester-Boston Regional is about 1.5 hours from Woodstock.

Do I need to rent a car?

Answer

Uber/Lyft are not a reliable option in Woodstock! Check with your hotel or B&B to see if they offer airport shuttles for guests! Otherwise, you'll probably want to rent a car to get from the airport to Woodstock. Once you're in Woodstock, you likely won't need a car. PUBLIC TRANSIT From Boston: take the Dartmouth Coach bus from the airport to Dartmouth, then the Vermont Translines Route 4 bus to Woodstock. One way is about 4 hours. From Manchester: take the Greyhound from the airport to Dartmouth, then the Vermont Translines Route 4 bus to Woodstock. One way is about 4.5 hours.

Is there a dress code?

Vermont formal. (In other words: semi-formal cocktail attire. We will be on grass, so swap your stilettos for chunky heels or flats.)

Is there parking at the venue?

Answer

There will be very limited parking (a handful of spots) at The Blue Horse Inn. Please walk to the venue, if possible, or carpool with others if you are not staying within walking distance. There’s also street parking throughout the village of Woodstock.
