Brad and I, actually first met in high school, and were even in the same prom group senior year! Brad claims we danced at prom!.. i'll go with that! Fast forward 10 yrs later.. both single, well high-school reunion was coming up. I had a very long, tiring, weekend of working and almost didn't go, because I didn't think their was a point LOL, but last minute decided to go! I remember the first people I saw were Brad and Mark. Well I couldn't remember Brads name at first, so i went to "re-introduce" myself, and he goes, "yea I know who you are, Heather!” and I said "oh yea?! well whats your name again?!" LOL, he goes - "Brraaddd!” hahaha. Sooo for the rest of the night, we kept gravitating towards each other, chatting, and having a good time! We then all went to a mutual friends house, where we talked and hungout until 3am! .. Brad kept saying, " I'm going to take you on a date!" over and over, and I would just keep saying.. "I'll believe it when it happens!" LOL .. That following Wednesday he took me on a date to Brio. We then preceded to hang out for the next 3 days in a row! and pretty much everyday after work. Well 3 weeks later it was Brads birthday, and I thought I would be taking him out to dinner. Well he actually ended up inviting me over to a “small family bday BBQ”.. that basically included his entire family! hahaha We all had a great time and I remember Diane pulling out prom pics saying "is this you here?!" LOL. Later that night I said.. “sooo I basically just met like your whole family, are you my boyfriend?!” and he goes "oh yea! duh!" .. and the rest is history! 6 years later, in July 2021 and many more to go!! Here’s to us!
