FAQs

Question

Where will the celebrations take place?

Answer

The wedding and reception will both take place at The Maxwell located at 330 Gideon Creek Way Raleigh, NC 27603

Question

What time should I arrive?

Answer

We kindly ask all guests to arrive by 4:10 PM to find their seats and settle in. The ceremony will begin promptly at 4:30 PM, and we wouldn't want you to miss a single moment!

Question

Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Weather permitting, the ceremony will take place outdoors. Cocktail hour will also be held outdoors, with access to an indoor area. The reception will be held indoors.

Question

Can I bring a guest?

Answer

We're so excited to celebrate this special day surrounded by our closest family and friends. As we're keeping it intimate, only those formally invited on your wedding invitation can be accommodated. If you have a plus one, it will be noted on your invitation and when you RSVP.

Question

Are Kids Welcome?

Answer

We love your little ones - we really do! However, we have made the decision to keep our ceremony and reception an adult only event (apart from immediate family). We hope this doesn't cause too much of a hassle for you and encourage you to use this evening as a "date night."

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

We would love to see our family and friends dress up with us! To help set the tone of our big day we are requesting semi-formal/formal attire (bridal party will be wearing blue). Ladies can wear floor-length, tea-length, or midi dresses and men can wear a suit and tie or a tux. Please NO jeans and NO white.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

The Maxwell provides 60 on-site parking spaces available for our guests. It is strongly recommended that you uber or lyft to the wedding if you plan on consuming alcohol during the reception.

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP by August 2, 2026

Question

How do I RSVP?

Answer

To RSVP, click the RSVP tab and type the name(s) listed on your invitation.

Question

Can I take photos and videos during the ceremony?

Answer

We kindly ask that you do not have your phones or cameras out during the ceremony. Our photographer and videographer will be capturing the ceremony, and we don't want any phones in our photos!
