Where is the Guemes Island Resort?

Do we need to reserve the ferry to the island in advance?

Answer

No. The ferry runs every hour from 6:30 am to 8:30 pm Monday through Thursday and 6:30 am to 11 pm Friday through Sunday. It's about a 15 minute ferry ride with an additional 15 minutes of driving to the resort.

What is the easiest way to get to and from the wedding venues?

Answer

We will be having shuttles to take guests to and from the wedding venues. If you are not staying at the Resort, please come to the Resort to park your car so you can be shuttled back and forth. We ask that you do this so we can be respectful of our neighbors and not clog the road with too many cars.

What is the dress code for the wedding?

Answer

Semi-formal. We want everyone to look and feel their best while also being comfortable. There may be sun and a cool breezes at night. You will be walking on a grass lawn, gravel, and mulch walkways so please be mindful when picking your shoes.

What is the weather like on Guemes Island around this time?

The weather will be high to mid 70s during the day and high to low 50s during the night.

Answer

The Guemes Island Resort and the Guemes Island General Store have a small selection of food and drink. We would recommend stocking up on food and beverages before you head over at the Safeway in Anacortes located at 911 11th St, Anacortes, WA 98221 or The Market at Anacortes located at 1519 Commercial Ave #2234, Anacortes, WA 98221 .
