Tori was asked to take senior photos of some of her friends on the Brevard College soccer team a month before graduation. She drove up the mountains to meet all of her childhood friends and their teammates, one of them being Heath. He did not know that he was about to meet the love of his life. After that amazing weekend in Brevard something sparked in both Heath and Tori. They both went their separate ways - Tori moved back to California to pursue being a camera assistant and Heath moved with some of his teammates to begin his adult life in Charlotte, NC. Although being 3,000 miles apart Heath was there for Tori in some of her hardest moments and he never shied away from the challenges. After being apart for 10 months and missing each other for too long, Tori moved back to Charlotte. They have been inseparable ever since. Blissfully happy.

The couple woke up to a beautiful morning in Staletti, Italy. Everybody on the trip had finally settled in to the small village and decided it was a great day to head down to the beach. Once everyone had arrived they all decided to get into the crystal clear waters and take the camera to a nearby cave to capture some awesome photos. Tori set up the camera for her sister Lauren to snap a couple of quick shots of her and Heath so they could print them (so she thought). As Heath and Tori step together in front of the camera Heath turned to her anxiously and started telling her how much she means to him...then got down on one knee. Tori saw the ring for a split second and immediately gave him a huge hug! The proposal was completely perfect in every way surrounded by a small group of family and friends.
