FAQs

The Wedding Website of Molly Dowell and Heath Weaver
If you have questions the day of the wedding, you most likely will not be able to reach us! You can try to contact the Maid of honor or someone from the bride's family to reach Molly, or the best man or a Weaver to reach Heath. PLEASE TRY NOT TO CONTACT US OR LEAVE QUESTIONS UNTIL THE DAY OF.
Question

Will I have internet/ wifi access at the ranch?

Answer

Possibly but, most likely not. Do not expect or plan to be sending out emails or answering work calls on the way up, down or during your stay at the ranch there is very limited internet and cellphone signal service. USE IT AS A TIME TO RELAX, GET AWAY AND BE IN THE MOMENT AND PRESENCE OF LOVE. :) this also means that you may have to and should print out or save the directions to the ranch property or the hotel you are staying at. Make sure that you will have access to your map or directions before you begin your ascent up the mountain. DON'T WORRY, the entrance to the ranch property will be clearly decorated and marked (so you won't miss it, just in case your maps/wifi do stop working)

Question

How is the drive?

Answer

According to Heath it's a casual, windy mountain drive. To me, it is TERRIFYING. this means, it is a winding mountain road, sometimes without guardrails, or proper pavement or space for two vehicles never mind the bicyclists that take up the road. AKA PLEASE DRIVE SAFE! That means, drive slowly, carefully, be aware of animals, cars, bikers, bad road conditions, bad weather, and DO NOT BE LOOKING AT YOUR PHONE! I want everyone to make it safely to this event and it should be a happy day and not one of sadness and car accidents!

Question

Are there going to be bathrooms available?

Answer

Yes, for older guests and family members there will be an indoor bathroom available for use. For all other guests, there will be CLEAN outdoor bathrooms to use.... remember we are in the middle of the mountains people. If there is a problem/issue and you need to speak with us about using an indoor space or bathroom for medical reasons, please just let us know.

Question

If I am camping on the ranch property can I come by/inside the ranch to offer my help or can I be checking out the ceremony or reception spaces before the call time?

Answer

NO!!!!!! If you are tenting, we EXPECT you to follow the rules and guidelines that we sent you (when you reserved your campsite or Rsvp'ed to camping over). There is plenty of space and acreage on the Weaver's ranch property, plenty that guests can stay clear of any wedding spaces, marked spaces or bridal party preparation spaces before the wedding ceremony call time. We will give you a map and clearly mark where to stay out of until there is time, there will be yard games and signs to nearby trailheads to hike/walk. You also are more than welcome and encouraged to come set up your tent, then leave the property and explore nearby attractions or towns until the time comes for "I do's"! Also.... remember if you come and set up early DO NOT EXPECT TO BE ALLOWED INTO THE RANCH (HOUSE) that is where we will be getting ready and making sure that every last detail is perfect. DO NOT EXPECT TO SEE THE BRIDE AND GROOM BEFORE THE CEREMONY AND RECEPTION. We'll see each other all night, just wait!

Question

What should I wear and pack?

Answer

We want everyone we love there to celebrate with us, and do not want to discriminate clothing choices or make anyone spend money on fancy clothes. That being said, we will be in full evening gowns and suits, but feel free to wear evening gowns, cocktail dresses, dress pants, suits, or think Sunday church clothes. Also, feel free to go more casual (i.e. everyday clothes) if that better suits your comfort level, lifestyle and finances. Please don't let a dress code stop you from coming!!! Remember we are on a ranch in the mountains... there will be dirt, rocks, gravel, mud, hills, holes, animals (our dogs), bugs, sunshine, water, wind and possibly unpredictable weather. I'd recommend bringing extra pants, shoes, layers and or coats just to be as prepared and dressed for comfort and success as possible!

Question

Is it easy to find?

Answer

We will try to best mark the turns and entrance as much as possible but, it is a winding, mountain road. I would suggest possibly even printing out or downloading the directions because you may have poor or no reception once ascending the mountain.
