Getting to Roaring Gap
Roaring Gap Club is located in the Blue Ridge Mountains in North Carolina The address for the main clubhouse (“the Inn”) is: 2663 Roaring Gap Drive, Roaring Gap, NC 28627 This is the best address to input into GPS for directions The Charlotte (CLT) airport is the closest airport to Roaring Gap and is a ~1.5 hour drive to RG. Traffic on I-77 North through Charlotte and Lake Norman can become very congested depending on the time of day – we recommend jumping in the paid Express Lane as it can save a lot of time! Once There...
Once inside club grounds, it is easy to get around, although house addresses often do not show up in GPS (or might show up wrong). We recommend using the above map (which will also be in your welcome bags) to orient yourself to key locations for the weekend! Where You Will Stay
We are so grateful to our Roaring Gap friends for offering up their houses where guests will stay. We will communicate where everyone is staying individually prior to the weekend and provide instructions on how to find your house, get keys, and where to leave soiled sheets and towels before you depart to make clean-up as easy as possible for our generous hosts!
Travel Note
Member Number & Meals
Upon arrival you will be set up with a temporary member number to use for any food, drinks, and/or activities (e.g., golf and tennis) outside of wedding events. There are several dining options including: The Chef’s Cupboard (located at the Inn through a separate entrance found to the left of the Inn’s main portico entrance): Casual grab-and-go with coffee, pastries, and some pre-made meals The Golf Shop: Walk-up window with breakfast sandwiches, drinks, and snacks, as well as sit-down indoor or outdoor dining for lunch Sparta is a small mountain town a ~20 minute drive outside of Roaring Gap if you find yourself itching to explore. A few spots we’d recommend are: Muddy Creek Cafe, Main Street Pizzeria & Taphouse
