Drew was escaping the Spokane winter and went on a boys trip to Vegas & Lake Havasu, while Angela decided to take a 5 week work gig in Lake Havasu working for Celcius the energy drink. Neither of them had ever been there before and the chances they meet on his last night there, fate. Drew was talking to some friends and playing hard to get, Angela then tried to shoot her shot but he seemed uninterested… A few hours go by and Angela got the courage to go up to him and say, “YOU, I have a bone to pick with you.” “Me???” He replied, “well let me make it up to you in our second date…” And the rest was history!

On the one year anniversary of when Drew first moved to Arizona, we went back to our old stomping grounds, back to where we met on the channel in Lake Havasu. Angela thought they were just going to watch the sunset, one of her favorite Arizona sceneries, before a nice dinner. While in the sand and staring at the sunset Drew started saying so many sweet and loving things, it was making her tear up. To her surprise, he then turned, got down on one knee and popped the question. Now the happy tears really started flowing. Her first words were, “OMG it’s so beautiful” (referring to the ring). After a few heart wrenching seconds, Drew asked her a second time. After a few more heart wrenching seconds she said, “of course I will!!!" And we were officially engaged. Unknown to her, Drew had a photographer hiding in plain site, capturing every moment, followed by a magical engagement shoot retracing all our steps in Lake Havasu where it all started. We're so excited to celebrate this next chapter in our lives with you. See you in Arizona!
