What do I need to know about the altitude?

Answer

If you're traveling from a lower elevation, PLEASE drink more water than you think you need to, even in the days leading up to the wedding! Alcohol can hit harder at higher elevation, so pace yourself. Bring layers, wear sunscreen, and go easy on the physical exercise, especially if you'd like to visit the Rocky Mountains while you're here.

What will the weather be like?

Answer

Denver weather changes hourly and can be unpredictable in April. Average temperatures are mid 60s in the day and mid 30s at night. Cocktail hour will occur outdoors unless it is raining cats and dogs. The rest of the event will be indoors.

Friday 4/19 Welcome Event: "Denver Fancy" AKA Casual Saturday 4/20 Ceremony & Reception: Cocktail Saturday 4/20 After Party: Glitz & Glam/Sparkle & Shine (but please no glitter) Sunday 4/21 Farewell Event: Casual FYI: The wedding venue will be indoors on concrete and outdoors on pavement. No grass or uneven terrain. Please wear comfortable shoes as needed.

Do I have to stay at AC Hotel or Le Meridien?

Answer

Nope! Our venue, SKYLIGHT, is in the heart of the city. Uber/Lyft should be easy to catch in terms of getting to and from the venue no matter where you are staying.

Should I get a rental car?

Answer

That's up to you. The hotels have valet parking and the venue has street parking.

Question

How do I get to the wedding venue? Will transportation be provided?

Answer

Getting to the venue: Please use our Lyft code to get a discount on a Lyft to SKYLIGHT. More info to come. Leaving the venue: A bus will be provided to the hotels (AC Hotel & Le Meridien) from 9:00pm-3:00am during the reception and afterparty.

Can I celebrate 4/20 at your wedding?

Answer

Marijuana is legal in the state of Colorado, however, the venue prohibits smoking or vaping on the premises. Whatever you decide to do on your own, please don't get us kicked out of the venue :) Plus, we have an all night party to stay up for!

I have dietary restrictions/food allergies. What's the best way to let you know?

When you RSVP, please fill out the section asking about dietary restrictions/allergies. We will work with our caterer to accommodate everyone as best we can!

After careful thought, we decided that the ceremony, reception and after party will be child-free. Kids are welcome at the informal welcome and farewell events. If you need help brainstorming childcare options, please feel free to reach out!

Due to space constraints at our venue, we are regrettably unable to extend invitations for additional plus ones.

Unfortunately, we decided against merging last names to "Tsealy" (boo). So neither of us will be changing our last name.

What is Mx.?

Answer

"Mx. is a gender-neutral title used in the same way as gendered titles like “Miss” and “Mr.” Like the singular “they,” it's used for people who identify as neither male nor female, or people who simply don't want to be identified based on their gender.
