Is there a hotel block or wedding discount available for out of town guest?

Answer

Yes! We have set aside rooms at Hampton Inn & Suites. Info: Hampton Inn Raleigh/ Town of Wake Forest 12318 Wake Union Church Rd Wake Forest, NC 27587 Located 1.9 miles (4mins) from reception venue We have reserved a block rate for total of 15 rooms (5 single king and 10 double queens). Call and mention "Healey-Treasure wedding" to take advantage of the rate. Rate is good until July 16th or until rooms are booked. Both rooms are $129 for the night. After combined taxes of 13.25% total rate is about $146 if you wish to shop around. Other close hotels include "Clarion Pointe Wake Forest - Raleigh North" and "Fairfield Inn and Suites by Marriott Raleigh Wake Forest"

Will there be dinner served or just hors d'oeuvre?

Answer

We are having a served buffet dinner of chicken and/or steak, with light hors d'oeuvres being passed during cocktail hour.

Are kids allowed to come?

Answer

To allow all wedding guests, including parents, a night of relaxation and uninhibited revelry, we respectfully ask that no children attend.

Is there going to be a ceremony on this day?

Answer

No, we will not be having a ceremony or vow renewal.

Is there overnight parking at the venue?

Answer

No, we kindly ask that you are able to safely remove your vehicle from the venue by 10pm. An on-site police officer will be attending for security purposes as required with our open bar, so please plan ahead.

Will the event be indoors or outside?

Answer

We are currently planned to host most of the event outdoors. However, we have the entire estate open to us and have developed a backup plan where everything can still take place indoors should weather be an issue. All these areas, the houses and pavilion are yours to explore either way should you wish to venture off or cool down in the AC.
