November 21, 2017... a day God most certainly had set on his calendar for both Chris & Brenda! After many weeks of contemplating, planning his approach and observing from the sidelines (AKA instagrams stories..) and a little helpful motivation from a mutual friend (thanks, Kamara!), The handsome Christopher Neal introduced himself to the lovely Brenda Hicks. The fairytale story did not start right away, however- it took a few weeks of back and forth one-word responses (from the brides side) and a whole LOT of pursuing (from the grooms side). Finally, one 6 hour phone call later, the groom stole the brides heart in one hilarious story (the bride always said if you can make her genuinely laugh- she's sold! And boy, was she sold!) And just like that- the couples most favorite, exciting and wonderful adventure began! After many sleepless nights talking on the phone all night, many flights back and forth from PA to FL (and visa versa), hundreds of cups of starbucks, trips around the world, and the blessing of there family and Pastorial leadership (Thank you to Pastor David and Aimee Myers and Pastor Jason and Lisa Upton)-- the happy couple say 'I do' on May 23, 2020!! First date- February 3rd (kind of) We went on a 'test date' (inside joke) February 2nd to Starbucks and the beach! Nothing like a little pike place and sunsets on the beach to set the mood! Then once we got through the test date, it was time for the real one! We spent the day at Kennedy Space Center then afterwards got dinner & coffee (of course, coffee) at Bold Cup in Viera! First 'I love you'- April 17th, 2018
