Wear what you like, we just ask that you wear semi-formal attire. We want you to look your best for the cameras! :)

RSVP’s are due NO LATER than August 25, 2019. After this date they will no longer be accepted! (CLOSED)

When is the queh queh?

Answer

The Queh Queh is being planned by the grooms family. The date for the shower is September 14, 2019 in Brooklyn, NY. Please see the "Events" page for more details.

What is a Queh Queh?

Answer

Queh queh is the celebration done the night before an African or Christian official wedding ceremony. The fest starts with the bride and her family at her house cooking traditional African food such as cook-up and drinking both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages and singing folks songs. It is an evening of singing, dance, eating and drinking. The purpose is jollification, emphasizing new relationships created by the union and, traditionally, to provide instructional and psychological preparation to the bride and groom for married life.

The RSPV ONLY reception will be held at: Five Points Memorial Hall 309 S. Maryland Avenue Wilmington, Delaware

Are children allowed to attend the recepection?

Answer

The reception will be an adults only event. Children are welcome to the church ceremony.

Can I bring a plus one to the reception?

Answer

Your RSVP card will indicate the number of seats assigned to you for the reception. Having a plus one may not be given in some cases(unless indicated).

If I don't turn in my RSVP, can I still attend the reception?

Answer

As we would love to celebrate our special day with us, we NEED your RSVP response card. This is important to planning our head count and seating.
