It all started when I saw him playing tag at Church Camp. I fell madly in love at the age of eight, at the sight of his transition sunglasses lens. At that moment I knew I HAD to stalk his every moment. This went on for four years until I made my best friend like his best friend, (SPOILER: It didn’t work out) like a lioness I swooped in. We talked for a year, threw up every time I saw him, and in 2013 made it official. Five years, contacts, and puberty later, I adore him like never before.
Well, I originally bought the ring about two or three months before I had planned to propose. And knowing her, she could get any secret out of me… and I involved our ENTIRE families, so that made it even more difficult to keep the secret. But I was smart, giving certain people limited information and whatnot (I am not crazy, just well planned). Anywho, I had rented a catering building, and that whole day my family and I decorated that building till I felt it was perfect. I felt that the perfect girl needed the perfect proposal and nothing less. So when we were all ready, I went and picked her up at her house, (she thought it was just a regular date, but we know differently… don’t we?;) ) took her to the building… and when she walked in, her face made it all worth it. I had a fireplace going, a walking path of candles and rose petals, and then I also had memorabilia of our relationship. You know concert tickets, letters, notes, ooey gooey stuff like that. I had a couch for her to sit on, and as soon as she sat down and turned around, BOOM I asked.
