Let's Make it Official!

*record scratch* Yep, that's us. About to get married. How did we get here? It all started in 2012 - when the world didn't end, Ryan and Brianna found themselves thrown together for the first time in Mr. Smith's AP Government Class. Ryan had one less good leg and Brianna was awkward, so they never spoke. But this was the first time they made googly eyes at each other from across the room. Fast forward to Senior Year, 2013. Ryan and Brianna made fast friends over a shared love of Taco Bell, classic rock, and teaching Brianna how to use a jigsaw (unsuccessfully?). Ryan made many attempts to take Brianna on a date, such as seeing the movie Gravity (which wasn't actually playing) and driving to Brookfield to romance in the Christmas lights at the zoo (to which Brianna invited a friend). But by the summer, they finally made it work. After 4 years together apart in different colleges and another two years separated across states while Brianna attended graduate school and Ryan went to work, they were finally united in Indianapolis as strong as ever, only to be immediately thrown into lockdown together. They survived the distance, the pandemic, the housing market, and raising Laika, their deaf puppy, finally becoming engaged in 2021 on their favorite day of the year, Halloween, in their favorite place, Brown County State Park! We can't wait to share our love with family and friends as we finally officialize our commitment to each other that has been nine years in the making.
