Tyler and Erin were about to give up on online dating, until they decided to take a chance on each other. For their first date they met for dinner in Multnomah Village, Portland, Oregon, where they would eventually share their first home. After some fairly awkward dinner conversation, they headed to Annie Bloom's Books and accidentally interrupted a poetry reading by loudly discussing their mutual love of Harry Potter. (They're both Hufflepuffs.) They finished the evening with what would become a date night tradition, frozen yogurt topped with lots and lots of sour gummy worms. The rest, as they say, is history.
