During Christmas of 2019, Cole found Summer on his explore page. It was a twist of fate because they lived hours apart and had no mutual friends. Cole followed Summer on Instagram and in return, Summer liked all of his pictures. After that Cole messaged Summer and they met in person for the first time on 01/09/2020 when Cole drove an hour to meet her. Summer met his family 2 weeks later and we have been glued together ever since!

Summer thought they just had reservations at Print Works Bistro, but Cole had a change of plans. Summer was told to wear a white dress, and to wear a blindfold for the car ride. Cole's mother and sister helped set the proposal up at a beautiful park in Greensboro. Once the couple arrived, Summer was led to a heart made out of flower petals on the ground with Cole on one knee. It was the best surprise ever!
