We’re getting married!

It all began at the Student Rec Center at Humboldt State University. We both worked out regularly in the morning, and eventually started noticing each other which turned into subtle glances and smiles. One day while I was shopping at the bookstore where Ken worked, he offered to help me find what I needed, so of course I obliged. Ken was under the impression I had a boyfriend at the time (I did not) so he held off on making a move. Soon we began Twitter flirting and one night I had the courage to DM him to break the ice. I invited him to my house also known as the Softball House for a party the following night. Ken wasn't really into house parties anymore but made an exception for me. When he arrived and approached me the connection was instant, I knew the second I looked into his eyes there was something between us that had to be explored.

On our first morning Paris, after dropping our bags off at the hotel we went out into the rain to find breakfast. After walking several blocks Ken takes me down along the Seine River. I thought he was just being him and wanting to explore while ignoring the fact that I was dying for some coffee. I began complaining that I was cold, wet, and hungry and wanted to move on. Ken agreed and asked for my phone to look for a near by spot. We continued walking along the river where there were no restaurants in sight so I began thinking something was up. Suddenly Ken walked up to a stranger reaching my phone out to them and I nearly begin freaking out as I heard Ken ask the stranger something in French. Next thing I know, Ken is walking back towards me and gets down on one knee. Of course I said yes!
