Parking, as well as handicapped parking, is available at the venue but it is limited. We will be providing shuttles to and from the hotels listed in the travel section of our website. If you're not staying at one of the hotels listed, you are welcome to ride the shuttle, but we do ask that you let us know you'll be riding one when you RSVP.
Our event calls for cocktail attire. For women, this generally means cocktail dresses, LBDs, and dressy jumpsuits. For men, suits or dark jackets and slacks are appropriate. Please keep in mind the ceremony will take place outdoors in the grass, so choose your dancing shoes accordingly!
October in the Carolinas is still quite warm! During the day, average temperatures are in the low 80s, and at night, things cool off with temperatures in the low-60s. Both the ceremony and reception will be outdoors, so dress accordingly!
We love your little ones - we really do. However, we respectfully request no children outside of our extended families join us. We hope you understand and enjoy a parents' night out!
If you cannot join us, know that you will be missed! Please let us know as soon as possible, and visit the RSVP section of our website to decline your invitation, so we can plan accordingly.
We are having an "unplugged" ceremony. This means we are asking that all phones and devices be put away and on silent/turned off during the ceremony. We've hired a professional to capture the most important moments of our lives, and we'd hate to have a well-meaning person's phone/device blocking that moment for the photographer to capture. After the ceremony, feel free to take as many photos as you want! And we promise to share the ceremony photos as soon as we get them.
We will be in constant communication with our venue, and we'll be monitoring COVID-19 trends to see if we need to make a change to our final guest list. If we need to reduce our guest count to meet safety recommendations, we will notify those impacted guests as soon as possible. Our anticipated guest count complies with the current CDC recommendations for North Carolina, Mecklenburg County, and our venue. We will continue to update our website as new guidelines are available, but we are optimistic conditions will continue to improve by this fall. #GetVaxedAndBoosted
