What will the weather be like this time of year?
Answer
Texas weather can be crazy. We recommend packing at least a light jacket, flip flops and a bathing suit (just in case).

Can I bring a date?
Answer
Because of COVID, we have a strict guest list. Our wedding is strictly RSVP only. We will only able to accommodate those listed on your invitation.

While we are not requiring a negative COVID test or proof of vaccination, we highly recommend anyone attending any of our events to be vaccinated and boosted up.

Are children invited to the wedding?
Answer
We love kids but our wedding is going to be an adults-only event so that everyone can relax and enjoy the evening. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time and leaving the kids at home so you can celebrate with us.

Where are the ceremony and reception taking place?
Answer
The wedding ceremony and reception will both be on site at the Barr Mansion.
Question
Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?
Answer
Weather permitting, the ceremony will take place outdoors. The reception will be indoors in the ballroom. In the case of inclement weather, the ceremony can pivot inside.

Can I take pictures during the ceremony?
Answer
No, please put away your phones during the ceremony. We are paying good $ for professional photographers and would like an opportunity to take nice photos of the event without interruption. The photographs will be shared at a later date.

Will there be vegan/vegetarian/GF options?
Answer
We are accommodating special diets. Please let us know your preference in our wedding RSVP.
Question
What happens after the ceremony?
Answer
After the ceremony, the wedding party will be taking pictures nearby for around an hour. Guests can head straight to the reception ballroom where we will be serving finger foods and beverages.
