We also encourage getting a COVID test before attending! The wedding ceremony and reception will take place outside and in a large tent. Breakfasts are grab and go Lunches are available for grab and go Seating for the Friday taco night is a combination of indoor and outdoor; in case of inclement weather we would use the tent outside. In addition to swimming, boating and fishing, there is a clay tennis court, a billiard table, a ping pong table, croquet lawn, bocce ball, golf at nearby locations, lovely walking paths, hiking trails and gardens, bird watching, board games, and roasting s’mores at the nightly bonfire.

All island guests will get dinner on Friday, breakfast, lunch and dinner on Saturday and day-after breakfast on Sunday. Menu options will be shared closer to the event!

Question

I have lodging arrangements away from the island. Can I still participate in Friday fun?

Answer

Yes, please! We have Stout Island to ourselves for the whole weekend, and we'd love to spend that time with you. Just let us know (via your RSVP or a separate message) if you'll be able to make it on Friday evening-- we'll just need to plan for the food. For travel to and from the island, please refer to the FAQ topic about the ferry.

Question

Can I bring my own food and drinks to the Island?

Answer

Yes, your lodging will have a fridge, a coffee maker, etc. Only alcohol supplied by Stout’s Island can be consumed in common areas on the island, so please only drink your personal alcohol in and around your lodging unit.
