We met on Bumble and after a few weeks of chatting back and forth decided to go on a date to a Stars game, where Haylie showed up 45 minutes late (unplanned but still a terrible first impression LOL). Collin thought he had been stood up, but once she finally made her appearance they both had the best first date either of them had ever been on. From the moment Haylie saw Collin, she knew there was something special about him, and not wanting to miss out on something great she immediately asked him on a 2nd date the next day to watch the Cowboys game at Dodie's Sports Bar. Unknown to her, he is a big Chiefs fan so was not his first pick of 2nd date locations....Collin however, luckily felt the same pull to her as she did to him and he agreed to a Cowboys game date night and the rest is history; all of the funny wrongs turned into the perfect right! We have been dating for a year and 9 months when Collin popped the question at the Arboretum on October 11, 2025. Collin asked Haylie's dad for her hand at the Texas State Fair a few weeks prior and we shared our big news with our families and friends at La Hacienda Ranch the night of our engagement. Anyone who knows Haylie knows how special both of those locations are to her, and Collin made sure to include everyone into our perfect day. To my love: here is to many more memories and special traditions to be created, cheers to us!
