Hayli and Eric’s story began in middle school where they met each other for the first time. Little did they know that their paths would continue to intertwine throughout the years, leading them to where they are today - creating a beautiful life and forever together. Ever since middle school, Eric has been persistent on getting Hayli to go on a date with him. She remembers the first time he asked her on a “date” was on the bus ride home one day after school and she just laughed it off. But, his dream finally came true when she agreed to go on a date with him…. about 10 years later! When their paths crossed once more, it felt like reconnecting with a part of themselves that had been missing, they felt their sense of finally finding their “home”. They knew from their very first date, they were meant to be and there was no denying it. From that moment on, Eric and Hayli have been inseparable! They describe their love, that they felt from those very first moments, and still feel today as, “a fairytale ending” - something you only ever see in the movies. Hayli and Eric share many interests like their love for animals, going on adventures, watching lifetime movies, date nights to Mi Pueblos and simply just enjoying each other’s company. Their life together this far, has been filled with so much laughter, love, and lots of great memories. Through every challenge and obstacle in life, they have stood by each other's side, offering unwavering support and unconditional love. Hayli describes Eric as her “pillar of strength” as he has been her rock through very difficult times. And then came the moment that would change their lives forever - Eric’s proposal to Hayli on Christmas Eve, surrounded by their closest friends and family. It was a “magical” feeling and evening filled with love and happiness, a perfect reflection of the life they are creating together. Hayli knew in her heart that saying "yes" to Eric was the easiest decision she has ever made. As they look to the future, their dreams are simple yet profound: to build a loving home together, raise a family, and to grow old in love, cherishing every moment they have together. Despite Eric "chasing" Hayli for all those years, the journey they experienced in their own individual lives, God has led them exactly where they are supposed to be. Their story is not just a tale of two people who found each other, but a testament to the power of love, faith, and destiny.
