What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

We kindly ask guests to gather at Bar Carey at 4:00 PM. The resort train will depart promptly at 4:30 PM for the ceremony, so please arrive with enough time to board.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We are so excited for you to enjoy Punta Cana with your families. While children are welcome at the resort, we kindly request that the wedding ceremony and reception be adults-only, with the exception of children in the wedding party and those specifically invited. The resort offers childcare services, so your little ones will be well cared for while you celebrate with us. Thank you for understanding.

Where can I reserve a room at the resort?

Rooms can be reserved directly through the resort website: https://www.barcelo.com/en-us/barcelo-bavaro-palace/ We recommend creating a free MyBarcelo Benefits account, as it may provide additional discounts on room rates. You are welcome to book your stay for any length of time. The ceremony will take place on July 30th, and the duration of your stay is completely up to you!

Can I bring a plus one?

We would love for you to enjoy the beautiful resort with a guest. However, due to space limitations, our guest list is limited to those who are individually named on the invitation. Thank you for understanding and celebrating with us.

How do I get to the ceremony and reception venues?

Answer

Guests will gather at Bar Carey at 4:00 PM. The resort train will depart at 4:30 PM to the Garden Gazebo for the ceremony. After cocktail hour, guests will return to Bar Carey until 7:40 PM, when transportation will take everyone to the reception venue.

Will the ceremony be outdoors?

Answer

Yes--the ceremony as well as the reception will be held outdoors at the Garden Gazebo and the Palapa Beachfront. We recommend light fabrics and comfortable shoes.
