We are so excited to share a few of our favorite things to see in the area. Mayo Co., Ireland, is a very special place to the McIntyre family. Dan's father/Hayley's grandfather, Patrick Raymond McIntyre is the first cousin of Bridgette (McIntyre) McNamara, the matriarch of our family in Ireland. We first had the pleasure of meeting her and all the cousins in 2011, when we traveled to Ireland for the first time. We were introduced to them initially by another first cousin of Bridgette and Pat's, Mike McIntyre, from England, who looked us up while traveling throughout the US in the 1990's. We have been back a few times since 2011, and cherish every moment. We are grateful to know them and our Irish heritage. Ireland and its people are dear to us.
