Dining at the Chase Park Plaza St. Louis

Kingside Diner

Chess themed diner with great breakfast and drinks. This location is in CWE by the Chase Park Plaza, but there is also another in Clayton (Vincent and Hayley's neighborhood where they are frequent flyers for breakfast.) Casual.

Taco Buddha

Hayley and her mom's favorite place for tacos in St. Louis. Globally inspired tacos and drinks. Casual.

Ivy Cafe

A cute cafe in Hayley and Vincent's neighborhood - open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner offering hand crafted and locally sourced food, coffee, and cocktails. Casual.

Pastaria

Contemporary trattoria with an open kitchen. Features homemade pastas and wood fired pizzas. Moderate. Reservations recommended for large groups or weekends.

Sado

Upscale Japanese fusion restaurant which was the location of Hayley and Vincent's first date. Expect a sushi-driven menu featuring dry-aged fish, premium nigiri and sashimi, creative rolls, and bold small plates from the binchotan-fired robata grill. Upscale. Reservations recommended.

Louie

Rustic Italian in a cozy atmosphere with highlights of homemade focaccia and pastas plus burrata flown in from Italy (Thursday through Sunday.) Upscale. Reservations recommended.

Akar

An intimate restaurant featuring an Asian fusion menu. Within walking distance to Hayley and Vincent's current apartment in Clayton, MO. Hayley celebrated her 30th birthday here. Upscale. Reservations recommended.

Bistro La Floraison

Modern French Bistro within walking distant to Hayley and Vincent's apartment and adjacent to Akar (also on this list.) We love their Spritz hour: Tue–Sat 5–6 p.m. Vincent met Hayley's parents here for the first time. Moderate. Reservations encouraged.

Sasha's on Shaw

Wine bar also offering a European-inspired lunch and dinner menu. Hayley and Vincent's third date was here. Shaw location is adjacent to the Missouri Botanical Gardens if you want to make a full day of it. There is another location on Demun in Clayton.

Clementine's Naughty & Nice Ice Cream

Ice cream parlor boasting 30-plus handcrafted varieties of flavors – plus boozy, vegan and dairy-free options. Multiple locations though out the city. A must try for dessert! Casual/dessert.
