Filipi's is one of Hayley's favorite restaurants in San Diego. Order the garlic bread!
With license plates and stickers all over the walls, Hodad's is a fun, casual lunch spot right in the heart of Ocean Beach. We love their classic burgers and fries. Perfect for a meal before or after your day at the beach.
We have only eaten here one time, but we still dream of the bolognese. The ambiance and vibe are so fun and the food was incredibly authentic. This is a perfect spot for a date night.
We celebrated Stephen's 30th birthday at C Level Lounge. You can sit and eat right next to the glass wall for a great view of the bay.
Located right on Orange Ave, the main drag of Coronado Island, Clayton's is a charming 50's diner. Sit at the counter, put a quarter in the juke box, and enjoy some coffee and breakfast.
We stayed at the famous Hotel Del Coronado for Hayley's 29th birthday. We loved having a drink at the Sun Deck....great views of the ocean, even better at sunset!
Werewolf is good for breakfast, lunch or dinner! Beware of the "breakfast shots" and don't go on your birthday, because they will have the whole bar sing to you ;)
Barleymash is a bar and restaurant, located in the Gas Lamp Quarter. We always order their burgers and the buffalo chicken fries. The bar gets lively at night.
Lahaina's is right on Ocean Beach. Sit on the deck to watch the surfers or catch the sunset with a cold beer.
Hayley has been going to shows at The National Comedy Theatre since she was in high school. Shows are completely improv and gives "Whose Line Is It Anyway?" vibes.
We LOVE to bike around Coronado Island. Take the ferry over from San Diego, rent your bikes at Holland's, and have yourself a beautiful day on the island. This is one of our favorite places.
Get on the water in a kayak to explore the La Jolla caves. There are high chances you'll get to see some sea lions. You'll also have some impressive views of the La Jolla coastline.
Take a drive to Point Loma. You'll pass by the Fort Rosecrans National Cemetery and Cabrillo National Monument on your way to the Point Loma Tide Pools. Once there, you'll have a beautiful view of the ocean, and can explore the pools to see some marine life.
