Question

How do we get to the Well Room?

Answer

The Well Room is on Duckworth street downtown St. John's. It is directly across from a restaurant called "The Sprout", which is a large 3-story green building. The entrance for the Well Room is in the parking lot across from The Sprout, down a small ramp. A sign will be posted outside of the venue for additional visibility.

Question

Where can we smoke?

Answer

Smoking is not permitted on the premises, however, you can walk up the ramp (a small walk) and smoke in the parking lot or on the street.

Question

What to do after the reception?

Answer

We'll be leaving after the reception to go to our hotel. George street is right next door, so if you want to continue the party, feel free to walk over.

Question

What kind of food will be available?

Answer

We're vegetarian, so a lot of the options will be vegetarian and vegan. There will be options for meat-eaters, plus sweets and pastries. Coffee and tea will be available.

Question

What is black-tie attire?

Answer

For masculine guests, black-tie means black tuxedos or black dinner jackets with a black tie. White or black button-up shirts, black dress pants, and black dress shoes are acceptable. For feminine guests, examples include: black pant-suits, black cocktail or evening dresses, black shoes, white dress shirts, or black pants.

Question

There's no registry, what do we give you?

Answer

We don't require any house or homewares, so we're asking for guests to give money or personalized gifts from the heart. We prefer experiences instead of material things, so money will help us pay for the experience we want (like travel). Handmade cards are encouraged. :)

Question

Can I take a video or photos at the ceremony?

Answer

During the ceremony, we're asking guests to keep their phones in their pockets and have them turned off, so that you are present for the ceremony and reception. We don't want any pictures aside from those taken by our designated photographer. You may turn it back on for the reception, but we still ask that you limit the number of pictures you take, and try to be as present/in the moment as you can!
