In August 2019, Hayley first encountered JD at the 4WEB Medical office in Dallas, Texas. After only weeks on the job, she was taken by surprise when tasked with interviewing JD. This meeting initially caused her to be somewhat reserved towards her soon-to-be colleague. However, it quickly became evident that JD was the most qualified candidate for the position, and they officially became coworkers just two weeks later. JD relocated to Dallas in October, and on his first weekend in town, Hayley and a group of friends decided to introduce him to the vibrant city. While they started off as "just friends" and coworkers, their relationship took an unexpected turn on JD's first night in Dallas when they found themselves dancing to Taylor Swift's "Lover" in JD's empty apartment. As they continued to work closely together and nurture their friendship, the COVID-19 pandemic struck six months later. Being newcomers to Dallas, they made the mutual decision to be quarantine partners during this uncertain period. JD took on the role of chef, preparing dinner almost every night, and they enjoyed leisurely walks along the Katy Trail. While everyone knew there had to be something between them, Hayley insisted on characterizing their relationship as "just friends." JD persisted in his pursuit, and in September 2020, their connection evolved beyond friendship and professional ties. Roughly two years later, on December 2, 2022 at Al Biernat's in Dallas, JD knelt down on one knee and asked Hayley to spend the rest of her life with him. In a rare moment of speechlessness, Hayley nodded and extended her hand to accept his proposal. Today, the two reside happily in Dallas with their two kitties, Mishi and Wabi, and continue to thrive in their careers within the medical device industry's marketing sector.
